Life
Some things in life we can be sure of...spring follows winter, day follows night, sunshine follows rain...but other things we can never be sure of...like how many days God has given us to live on this earth. Life is a such a mixture of grief and happiness.
John's 26-year-old nephew was killed last weekend in a machinery accident. We can't understand why God takes those he does, and especially a young married man with a child and one on the ay. We pray for you, Starla and Jessica, may God hold you tightly in His arms...and Kenneths, Kevins, Keiths, Lisa, and Eric...May God give you abundant grace for the road ahead...and the rest of the family I don't know...we pray for your sorrow as well.
Pray for John. He's flying today to the funeral. He has three plane changes and not much time for error. Please pray that he will make his flights and that everything will go smoothly.

praying!!!!
My deepest sympathies to all of you. Praying, too.
We are praying for him and the rest of you at home!
I'll pray. Dan and Steve are leaving soon and they don't have much time to spare either. They are driving all night and I've heard the roads are snowy.
My sympathies and prayers.
Just came back to let you know that Dan and Steve went just beyond Multnomah Falls and turned around because of the advice of those already there.
And also you had ALL my sympathy last night. So sorry you couldn't be with your family.
